Counseling Services

Individual, Couples and Family counseling (ages 14+).

I offer a FREE 20-minute phone consultation to share information, and to make sure we are a good match.

All therapy sessions are 60 minutes unless otherwise specified

Areas of Focus

I specialize in (but am not limited to): anxiety, career/college/gap year, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, healthy/unhealthy relationships, LGBTQ+, life transitions (changing careers, retirement, new parents, etc.), mindfulness, neurodiversity, parenting, self-esteem, self-harm, stress, teen issues and trauma survivors.

Fees

As part of the "No Surprises Act"passed in 2020, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” upon request or at the time of scheduling services, explaining how much your health care will cost. I offer a sliding fee scale to ALL clients and ask clients to choose the amount they can afford within the range of $80-$130 for a 60 minute session.

If you wish to use your insurance to help with the cost of therapy, I will provide a statement for you to submit to your insurer for reimbursement.

I am not on any preferred provider or managed-care lists and am considered an out-of-network provider. If you plan to use insurance, contact them directly to ask about coverage in advance.

Payment

I take Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, Paypal and personal checks.

Location

I am only seeing clients remotely (video or phone). People are often more comfortable and productive when they choose where to meet. Most clients log into sessions from their home or workplace, and some choose a private library study room or outside in nature (or on a patio/deck). If the location is safe, conducive to counseling, and offers a reasonable expectation of privacy, the choice is yours. Your pets are welcome to join, as long as they do not become a distraction for you.

Remote Counseling for Colorado Residents

Remote therapy provides an alternative way for us to connect. It is beneficial when:

  • You have complicated scheduling issues

  • You have a disability or health reasons that makes it difficult to leave your home

  • You are unable to drive

  • You live in a rural location with limited transportation options

  • You are a parent or caregiver with very little time to go out for appointments alone

  • You are on vacation & don't want to miss a session

* Remote counseling provides more comfort and security when choosing your setting

Cancellations

Your appointment time has been reserved just for you. If you need to cancel, I ask that you let me know at least 24 hours before your session time. If you miss your session or cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, a missed session fee will be assessed.
